Born and raised in New York, I'm the middle of three boys. I played sports as early as I can remember, but did not get interested in auto racing until much later in life.

I was introduced to NASCAR by a friend of mine who invited me over to his house to watch a race. While his whole family and I watched the race together, he'd point out to me certain details about NASCAR racing, like why the stock cars were designed the way they were, the various types of race tracks, team strategy in a race, the relationship between team owners and their crews, drivers, sponsors, etc. The more he spoke, the more I got interested. Soon after that, I became a "NASCAR fan."

Currently living in Central Florida with my wife and twin children (girl and boy), I'm enjoying family life in the Sunshine State.

I was born in New York, and moved to Central Florida in the mid eighties. I never played conventional sports but enjoyed skateboarding and being a musician.

During the early 90s, I got interested in computer science. I took many courses regarding computers, and of course, enjoyed playing computer games. One of my personal favorites was Papyrus' NASCAR racing. Although I never followed racing I found this game very entertaining.

My wife, whom I met in Florida, really enjoyed racing, especially the NASCAR Nextel cup series. Since we had bought a house minutes from the Daytona International Speedway, I thought I would take her to the Daytona 500. The smell of the fuel, the sound of the engines, and excitement in the air, that's all it took--- I was hooked.
